Business Analyst

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc., a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial services industry is seeking a Business Analyst for our growing team! If you are interested in using your banking and analytical skills in a fast-paced department, this position may be the perfect opportunity for you! The Analyst will report to the Senior Manager of Operations - Ovation Enterprises Services and will work with a team of 10 other analysts. The position requires a flexible work schedule to meet ongoing responsibilities. The position will focus on the operation and support of 5 Ovation Banks in the Jack Henry network. Operations and support include using SilverLake, CIF 2020 and Core Director systems along with all applicable complimentary products. The Analyst will work directly with the Sales and Education Teams, assist with transactions, turnover, bank copies, release upgrades, support testing and daily operation reviews.
This position will be located in Monett, MO
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
18 months of banking or financial services experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
SilverLake, CIF2020 or Core Director experience.
Bachelor's Degree.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Researches, analyzes, creates, and maintains applicable Policies & Procedures.
Manages department processes to ensure compliance and that deadlines are met.
Defines, documents, and publishes processes. Observes existing practices across multiple departments with similar functions and looks for opportunities to optimize practices and processes.
Supports collection and interpretation of business information.
Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
Performs Impact Analysis of all recommended changes and standards. Presents and defends recommendations to mid-management and senior level management.
Interrelates KPIs and adjusts business variables to improve the effectiveness of the measurements used.
Analyzes trends and provides correlated studies of potential changes and outcomes.
Participates in post-project reviews to determine effectiveness, pertinence and timeliness of newly recommended processes. Identifies processes that are effective and works to change processes in need of further refinement.
Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
Analyzes high volumes of data from multiple sources.
Tracks the appropriate market space.
Performs Cost-Benefit and other forms of analyses.
POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides frontline support for the sales and internal education teams.
Troubleshoots and repairs customer product complaints.
Tests release upgrades and fixes to ensure quality.
Provides operations support for various interfaces.
Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes.
Creates all operations documentation.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
