About the Program
Our 10-week, paid Corporate Internship Program begins June 3, 2019. This program offers college students the opportunity to learn through application and fully immerse in the day-to-day activities of the business unit they are working in. Throughout the program, students will build upon their current skillsets and work in a collaborative environment, while learning from subject matter experts across the organization. They will participate in projects that work toward company objectives that will result in creative solutions and inspire innovation both at JHA and across the fintech industry.

Our program kicks off with New Employee Orientation that will allow students to learn more about JHA s award-winning company culture and three brands Jack Henry Banking , Symitar , and ProfitStars. The internship program will conclude with a trip to our corporate headquarters and a student-led presentation to JHA Associates. This showcase provides interns with an opportunity to share who they are, what they ve learned, and what they loved most about their time with us.

Internship Description
Jack Henry & Associates Travel Department coordinates all the travel needs for the more than 6,000 employees nationwide. Additionally, the Travel Department schedules and operates several business aircraft in support of this corporate mission. While simultaneously providing support for company business activities such as; sales, install teams, meetings, shuttles and corporate services, the department also provides 24/7 short-notice emergency air transport for JHA. While ensuring the safety of all passengers throughout business trips, the individuals in this department is also tasked with effectively and efficiently dealing with dynamic situations and executing alternate plans when needed. The Flight Department rigorously trains all company pilots in the aircraft, simulators and in the classroom to ensure they consistently provide industry-leading knowledge and skills.

This department is seeking a task-oriented, determined student to join their Summer 2019 Corporate Internship. A qualified candidate will work alongside current crewmembers on several projects in the Department surrounding: training, safety and flight standards. Additionally, a student will receive aircraft and operations specific training that would qualify them for a Second-in-Command Type Rating on the Company's Embraer Phenom 300 Aircraft. The student will then have the ability to join JHA on trips as able, to gain valuable hands-on experience. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside highly experienced pilots in a well-established flight department while learning more about the business aviation industry.

To be considered, a student must hold a Multi-engine Commercial Instrument Certificate, as well as a Current FAA Second Class Medical.

Minimum Qualifications
A Student Must:

  • Attend an accredited college or university.
  • Pursue a bachelor s degree in: Aircraft operations, aviation, or aeronautical engineering.
  • Hold a Multi-engine Commercial Instrument Certificate.
  • Hold a current FAA Second Class Medical.
  • Have a cumulative 3. 0 GPA.
  • Remain in good academic standing throughout internship.
  • Meet JHA employment requirements.
  • Be able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship and work around a flexible schedule.
  • Be a junior or senior student (sophomore year completed) at the beginning of internship.
  • Meet legal requirements to work in the U. S. for an indefinite period of time.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
