Welders - All Shifts

Hiring on all shifts - 1st, 2nd and 3rd

Responsibilities include:

1. Ability to square up and weld various geometries of components

2. Ability to weld MIG

3. Understands various weld form symbols

4. Ability to weld vertical, horizontal, flat and overhead welds

5. Ability to accurately read tape measure and blue prints.

6. Understand the process of prepping for finish by checking for pinholes in the weld, weld spatter on the part and eliminating sharp edges

7. Ability to inspect finished product, parts or units for conformance to print and all clean up detail

8. Maintain assigned area and equipment in safe and functional order

9. Welders may provide cross-functional fabricator duties as assigned

10. Perform operator daily PM on tools and equipment.

11. May be required to operate fork truck.

12. Perform Daily housekeeping / 6S.

13. Ability to pass initial weld test per Metals Pre-Qualify Weld Test

Qualified applicants will have:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

  • Prefer one to three years related manufacturing experience.

  • Previous weld experience is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
