Paint Line Hanger (G1/S1) 3rd shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Hanging parts on the moving paint line per line tracker instructions.

  • Prep parts for hanging inspect for quality.

  • Unloading arches and placing them in to staging bays

  • Unloading miscellaneous parts and place them on pallets, in vehicles on racks or shelves.

  • Using a hammer to drive caps into the ends of the post and then wrapping the end of the post with cohesive paper.

  • Taking all of the hooks off of the line and placing them on racks to be taken back to the plant to have the excess paint removed.

  • Driving forklift to move parts to staging areas

  • Carrying large parts from the line to the large parts staging area.

  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials and marks information on cases and containers.

  • QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.     EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

    • One to three years manufacturing experience preferred.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    • Ability to read, write and speak English

    REASONING ABILITY:

    • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form

    • Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence

    • Ability to count and measure equipment

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using basic math skills.

    OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Ability to distinguish colors.

    ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT:

    Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level is determined in the company s employee handbook. Must be available and willing to work overtime hours as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. Must be available and willing to work such weekends and/or holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

    Don't Be Fooled

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
