Kelly Services is hiring for 4 Quality Techs with a major manufacturing company in Springfield, MO.

Job Details:
Requires a strong background in quality for a 6-12 month assignment. (This could be a longer or permanent placement depending on the candidate and business needs.)
Pay range: $19/hr - $28/hr depending on qualifications.
-M-F 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., with some Saturday work.
-Requires a strong quality background and experience, along with good understanding of manufacturing and construction of products.
-We will need a higher skill set than our quality techs/auditors, as this needs more foundational knowledge, initiative, and skills.
SUMMARY PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities across all phases of assigned quality projects to ensure the objectives of quality, time, and cost are met. Prepares project schedules and reviews cost estimates, compiles required cost and equipment information, and writes appropriation requests. Also works with external component suppliers. Responsible for effective communication of quality information among team members. Investigates quality problems and develops plans for solutions in line with economic, personnel, and environmental considerations.
SCOPE:
Quality projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
APPLICATION OF KNOWLEDGE:
Performs work which requires direct application of quality mgt/engineering skills to conventional types of tasks, some having complex features. Begins to develop competency in multiple engineering technologies. Learns how to apply engineering tools to deliver business results and provide better products to our customers.
JUDGMENT:
Evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering and scientific techniques, processes, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. Assignments have clear, specific objectives and require investigation of a limited number of variables.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1-3 years combined quality and/or engineering experience.
EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Math, or relevant Science or combination of education and experience. Responsible for ongoing development of technical and leadership competencies.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities: Manage and improve processes to uphold product quality standards. Track and monitor key quality performance metrics in order to reduce manufacturing defects. The scope of influence of this position spans manufacturing, engineering, product development and material vendors. The ability to effectively present information, defend a position and address concerns is key to fostering collaboration.
Safety: Periodically exposed to machinery where safe operating procedures must be followed, occasional lifting of materials up to 30 lbs. is required, work environment is noisy.
Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Lean Sigma Green Belt certification and ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
