Description/Job Summary
Responsible for the oversight and management of the Niman Ranch Sow Farms. This includes the management of staff, facilities, production, and financial performance.
+ Responsible for the sow farms and all associated employee?s adherence to all Niman Ranch production standards and expectations.
+ Supervise, mentor, and support the Sow Farm Site Managers for the continuous improvement of the Niman Ranch sow farm system.
+ Overall responsibility for farms achieving weekly production targets (KPI?s).
+ Responsible for managing operational costs and financial performance.
+ Direct and manage pig shipments in coordination with Site Managers and Placement Manager.
+ Develop and manage sow farm budgets.
+ Oversight of all period close financial and inventory reports.
+ Review farm financials with Accounting to identify and improve key drivers.
+ Responsible for overall farm biosecurity plans.
+ Develop budgets for all new sow farm construction.
+ Communicate with Senior Management weekly on current tasks, goals, and timelines.
+ Develop management succession plan for all farms to ensure seamless transition.
+ Any other duties as assigned, requested, or directed by management/supervisor.
+ B.S. degree in Animal Science or related field, with a minimum of five-year?s experience in straw-bedded pork production system/farrowing unit, OR minimum of ten years? experience in traditional pork production/farrowing unit.
+ Minimum of two years experience in swine building construction is preferred.
+ Evidence of ability to lead by example, and manage a team of 5-10 people.
+ Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Ability to problem solve, be a critical thinker, goal oriented, and a team player.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
