Value Stream Manager needed for our Monett, Missouri location
We are seeking to add a motivated, knowledgeable, self-starter with a positive attitude to join our team as a Value Stream Manager in the Monett, MO area. 
This position is responsible for facilitating manufacturing work processes and motivating the team toward achieving department and plant strategic goals through effective project management, communication skills and fair implementation and administration of company policies. Value Stream Manager's responsibility includes employee safety and welfare, staff development, quality, productivity enhancements and general housekeeping.
Responsibilities include:

  • Delivers results and ensures accountability by establishing ownership for actions and holds self and others accountable to meet responsibilities.

  • Uses Lean Management techniques to identify and address opportunities to reduce and eliminate waste in all processes.

  • Applies a well-rounded global perspective when making decisions and taking action.

  • Extensive knowledge of work machines, equipment and assembly.

  • Acquires and retains top talent by developing others, networking, and initiating collaboration with employees and peers.

  • Engages others through communication by understanding the audience, taking ownership, and listening to new ideas.

  • Leads by example both ethically and morally.

  • Manages relationships by building rapport, finding common ground, solving disagreements, and conveying a clear concise message.

  • Energizes and motivates those around them by influencing their thinking and actions without relying on the power of their position.

  • Shows passion and support for organizational goals and direction despite personal feelings.

  • Creates and communicates vision of future state for their realm of responsibility that inspires others to commit to the results.

  • Develops, implements and maintains all manufacturing methods used by department including ISO procedures.

  • Makes effective decisions timely under strenuous deadlines.

  • Systematically and objectively weighs pros and cons of available choices and selects best option for the organization.

  • Focuses on the customer, both internally and externally.

  • Acts as a change agent and embraces, owns and leads change effectively.

  • Anticipates barriers and risks to pro-actively address prior to occurrence.

  • Exhibits competency in financial planning, budgeting, calculating prior year's performance and forecasting future expenses based on pattern. 

Qualified applicants will have:

o    Two year degree and a minimum of five years in manufacturing in a decision-making capacity or four year degree.
o    Two years of direct supervision required.
o    Ability to research and maintain professional knowledge
o    Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and related PC skills
o    Ability to embrace and champion change
o    Excellent organizational skills
o    Strong moral and ethical compass
o    Engaging and ability to work on a team
o    Conflict resolution skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
