Jack Henry & Associates is seeking a Financial Analyst that will be part of our accounting team. This position will be responsible for analyzing financial data and will assist with financial concepts for planning and control. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
5 years of experience as a financial analyst or similar role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and legislature
Strong project management skills
Ability to meet aggressive deadlines
PREFERRED SKILLS
Strong Microsoft Excel and Access Skills
Bachelor's degree in a business related field
Experience with Hyperion and Oracle
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops, maintains and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
Prepare consolidation and executive financial packages for distribution
Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action
Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.
Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control.
Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
Evaluates and analyzes capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc.
Documents revenues and expected expenditures and prepares summary statements and documents.
Acts as consultant to management on financial policies, procedures, and applications.
Prepares special studies, analyses, and recommendations for budgets, business forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, and statistical reports
