SUMMARY
Programmer Analyst under moderate supervision, provides programming support for existing software enhancements.- Support may be for customer or internal organizations.
Position can be worked from Monett or Springfield, MO.-
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops programming code for existing software enhancements.-
Devises block diagrams, logic procedures and prepares flowcharting.
Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.
Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.
Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.
Provides programming support for various interfaces.
Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes.
Creates all programming documentation.
Completes project bids.-
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate-s or Bachelor-s degree preferred.
Minimum of 18 months to three years of experience in programming or related field; or
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
RPGLE, and CLLE programming or programming support experience is a must.
RPG Free and Embedded SQL are preferred but not required.-
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Developing professional expertise.- Works on non-complex to moderately complex projects.- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.
General knowledge of the financial industry.
Good communication and customer interaction skills.
Able to write software code; general knowledge of appropriate programming language(s).
Able to meet aggressive deadlines.
Working knowledge of applicable Change Management System.-
WORKING CONDITIONS
Typical office setting with environmentally controlled conditions.
Able to work extended hours as business needs dictate.
Occasional overnight travel required.
Able to participate in on-call rotation to provide assistance to general support.-
