Purchasing Manager at PlayPower in Monett, MO
Are you a hard worker who enjoys being an integral part of the manufacturing process and focuses on process improvement while working with a great team? We are hiring a Purchasing Manager to lead the team in ensuring production has the supplies and materials they need to run smooth and get playgrounds to our customers on time and in full. Inventory, purchasing and receiving will fall under your purview. This role is based in-person out of our Monett, MO office. Responsibilities include:
Manages team to ensure optimal purchasing and material management practices Achieves and maintains purchasing goals Drives best practices and contributes to inventory reduction Achieves tactical and strategic goals related to vendor and purchasing management Analysis of customer demand, sales forecast, historical material usage Implementing best practices related to the systems and processes that support inventory, forecasting, purchasing, and material control Works closely with key stakeholders and functional areas of the business to understand and satisfy needs and requirements Qualified applicants will have:
Bachelors and/or Master's degree (M. A.) Four to ten years related experience and/or training APICS and/or Purchasing Certification is a plus Demonstrated experience in materials management and purchasing function Knowledge of MS Office products and EAP systems Demonstrated experience cultivating relationships with internal and external customers in a fast-paced and complex environment

Minimum Qualification
